The new EU–US rules from July 2026 — what changes

On 1 July 2026 the EU–US framework agreement entered into force. Most important for importers: the EU has eliminated tariffs on US industrial goods — bringing in machinery, parts or equipment from the USA is now cheaper than ever. In the other direction, most EU goods face a single 15% tariff instead of the previous patchwork of rates. Steel and aluminium, among others, remain exceptions. Before you plan a project, we'll check the rate for your CN/HTS code.

Import from the USA to Poland

Export from Poland to the USA

Exporting to the USA today means a predictable, flat 15% instead of uncertainty — for many Polish manufacturers the maths still works out very well, especially for machinery, furniture and premium food. We'll calculate it properly, not by eye.

How long does transatlantic transport take?

Sea freight from the East Coast to Gdańsk/Gdynia takes approx. 12–18 days, from the West Coast 25–30 days; air freight 3–6 days. Counting pick-up, clearance and delivery, realistic door-to-door time by sea is 3–5 weeks. You get an exact schedule with the quote.
