We built CargoNet's own operating system to manage sourcing, freight, customs clearance, warehousing and fulfilment under the Smart-Warehouse brand in one place, supported by artificial intelligence. Instead of dozens of emails and calls, you get one coherent process that keeps the shipment moving and makes the next requirement clear.
Why we built it
Four stages.
One source of data.
Importing from Asia connects four operational stages: supplier negotiation and purchasing, freight across half the globe, customs formalities and the handling of goods after arrival. They are often split between different companies, leaving the client to carry documents between them. We changed that. Sourcing, freight, customs and Smart-Warehouse now work from the same data without losing context.

Orders, proforma invoices, product catalogues and supplier history are recorded in one system. We know what was ordered, what is in production and what is already moving. A repeat order with a proven supplier never starts from scratch.
