Fulfilment — someone else packs your parcels
Fulfilment means handing over the entire physical handling of orders in your online shop. Your goods sit in our warehouse, and when a customer places an order we pick it, pack it and ship it to the given address. You stay with what actually builds sales: the product, the offer and the marketing.
For most shops the moment of switching to fulfilment looks similar: sales grow, and evenings start going on packing boxes instead of growing the business. That's when packing stops being a saving and becomes a brake.
How it works, step by step
1. You hand over the goods
We receive the delivery from you, from your manufacturer, or straight from the port after import. We check quantities and the condition of the packaging.
2. We enter the goods into the system
Every product gets its location in the warehouse and goes into the WMS. From that moment it is clear how many units you have and exactly where they are.
3. An order comes in
How orders reach us is agreed individually — from a simple file with a shipping list to a connection with your sales system. We adapt to what you already work on, rather than forcing you to change tools.
4. We pick and pack
We take the right products, pack them the agreed way and prepare them for dispatch. We can add your leaflets, thank-you cards or branded tape — the parcel still looks like yours, not ours.
5. We ship to the customer
The parcel goes to the courier the same or the next working day, in line with an agreed cut-off time. We send both courier parcels and pallet deliveries.
6. We handle returns
We receive the return, check the condition of the product and — if it is fit for resale — put it back into stock. In e-commerce returns can eat a huge amount of time, so this is often the biggest relief.
What you actually gain
- Time back — packing and running to the post office stops being your job.
- Variable instead of fixed cost — you pay for the space used and the operations performed, not for rented square metres standing empty off-season.
- Scaling without panic — a sales peak no longer means hunting for a warehouse and people at the last minute.
- Order in your stock — a WMS instead of a spreadsheet and memory.
- No investment — you don't tie up capital in a hall, racking and equipment.
When it's worth thinking about seriously
Fulfilment doesn't pay off for every shop. But if you recognise at least two of the points below, you have probably outgrown doing it yourself:
- goods take up your flat, garage or office,
- packing takes you more than a few hours a week,
- sales are seasonal and at peak you run out of hands and space,
- shipping mistakes happen, because everything rests on memory,
- you import by the container and have nowhere to unload,
- you want to enter another market, but logistics is holding you back.
Where your goods sit
We run fulfilment from a 5,000 m² class-A warehouse in Pietrzykowice near Wrocław, directly at the A4 motorway junction. Pallet racking, high-bay storage, a WMS and fast access to the whole of Poland and western Europe. Details on the warehouse and the full range of warehousing services.
Our own Smart-Warehouse facility in Pietrzykowice
CargoNet has its own warehouse in Pietrzykowice near Wrocław, serving as the base for Smart-Warehouse operations. Operating scope, available capacity and receiving dates are agreed for each client.
Other locations are the subject of business contacts and discussions. We do not present them as our own or a confirmed warehouse network. Handling at another location must be confirmed separately before quotation.
Before launch we agree receiving, storage, picking, packing, returns and reporting. Cut-off times, integrations, seasonal capacity and responsibilities belong in the agreed scope; they are not identical for every project.
Ask about capacity and handling →What it costs
There is no single price list, because the cost depends on what your goods and your sales look like: how much space they take, how fast they turn over, how many orders go out daily and how complex the packing is. We charge for the space actually occupied and the operations actually performed. Tell us your range and how many parcels you ship monthly — we'll send back a concrete calculation.
Frequently asked questions
From how many orders a month does this make sense?
We don't set a rigid threshold. In practice, at a few dozen parcels a month fulfilment can still be debatable, while at a few hundred it usually works out cheaper and calmer than packing yourself. We'll calculate it for your numbers.
Will the parcel look like mine?
Yes. We can pack in your boxes and add leaflets, samples and branding materials. To your customer it is still a parcel from your shop.
What about the sales peak?
That is exactly where fulfilment gives the most. We increase the space occupied and the handling pace for the peak, and after the season you return to lower costs. It's worth warning us about an expected peak in advance.
Can I check stock levels?
Yes. The warehouse runs on a WMS, so stock levels and locations are recorded on an ongoing basis. We agree the form and frequency of reporting when the cooperation starts.
